The School of Environment and Architecture (SEA) invites interested persons to be a part of the Faculty. SEA is a research based academic space and all faculty members of SEA are required to undertake research activities along with the pedagogy. All faculty members of SEA shall also be members of the research vertical, The Centre for Spatial Studies.
SEA offers a Bachelors of Architecture programme and all faculty members need to be eligible as per the current norms of the Council of Architecture. The norms can be found at the website of the Council of Architecture.
Currently, the call is made for the position of Assistant Professor. All statutory norms are followed for the remuneration of all faculty members. The selected person shall be on probation for a period of one year.

Preference will be given to persons who have a design and technology orientation.
The application must contain
- application letter explaining interest in research and pedagogy and specific area of specialization / inclination;
- CV providing details of education and experience;
- a short portfolio (less than 10mb) with sample works (drawings, pedagogic experiments, research works, built projects, writings, etc.) (If videos / websites are included, then please send links)
- two letters of references OR details of two referees who could be contacted over phone/email for references.
Shortlisted persons shall be contacted for further process. SEA shall not give any reasons for not accepting, shortlisting or appointing any applicant.
